Warren V. "Pete" Musser - Chairman

Mr. Musser is the founder and CEO of The Musser Group LLC, a strategy consulting and private equity firm based in Wayne Pennsylvania which he started in 2001.  Mr. Musser is the founder and former CEO and Chairman of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., a company that builds value in high-growth, revenue-stage information technology and life sciences businesses.  He was a founding investor of QVC, Novell, Compucom Systems, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Internet Capital Group, among other companies.  Mr. Musser is currently on the board of Nutrisystems, Inc., Internet Capital Group, Inc., and serves as Chairman of Telkonet, Inc. and InfoLogix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: IFLG).  Mr. Musser serves on a variety of civic and charitable boards, including his roll as Co-Chairman of the Eastern Technology Council, Chairman of Economics PA and Vice Chairman of the National Center for the American Revolution.


Michael M. Carter - Founder

Michael M. Carter is a  Managing Director of The Musser Group and a partner in The Musser Consulting Group.  Mike is a former software and IT Services  entrepreneur and executive.  Mike was the founder and former CEO of  Dashboard Systems, now a part of Cisco Systems funded CXO Systems, where he served as head of corporate, business development and  marketing.  Prior to founding Dashboard Systems, Mike founded and was the CEO of Ajunto, the first online marketplace for the IT Industry and  now part of Web Services software leader SOA Software, where he served as  Chief Sales and Marketing Officer following the acquisition of Ajunto in 2001.  Carter was SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for US Interactive and helped take the company public as an Executive Officer, becoming the youngest officer of any Safeguard Scientifics funded public company.  Carter began his career in client-server technology with Cambridge  Technology Partners, working in a variety of leadership roles in consulting, sales, and marketing.  Carter holds a B.S. and M.S. from Saint Joseph's University, and serves on the Board of Visitors for the Moorestown Friends School.  Additionally, Mike is a member of the Legatus Organization and serves as Co-Chairman and founder of DirectorForce.


Howard E. Lubert - President  & CEO

Howard brings more than 30 years of technical and entrepreneurial expertise to DirectorForce and spent the last two and a half years researching and examining the SaaS  (Software as a Service) marketplace before taking over the operation  of DirectorForce.  Mr. Lubert was the managing partner of SafeHatch LLC, the technical due diligence, entrepreneurial business acceleration, fund raising and turn-around consulting practice he spun out of Safeguard Scientifics after building and validating the due diligence methodology for Safeguard during the 2000 market adjustment.  Prior to his tenure at Safeguard, Mr. Lubert spent 3 years at Deloitte and Touche where he was instrumental in the creation of the firm's
e-business consulting practice.  An Adjunct Professor in the entrepreneurship program at Temple University's Fox School of Business, Howard received his B.A. in psychology and business from Moravian College, his M.A. in School Psychology from Glassboro University, and his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Hamilton University.  He has served as a board member at the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for the last 5 years and is active in a number of other local charitable organizations 


Alex Zhitomirsky - Chief Architect

Alex Zhitomirsky founded ValexConsulting, Inc. in 1998 focusing on the growing Information Technology industry, specifically the Internet strategy and solutions consulting market.  Alex shapes the company's vision and strategy, builds the ValexConsulting brand, and seeks out channels for developing business and partnerships.  He has a passion for rapid, iterative, and collaborative solution delivery techniques but also has significant experience with more traditional application development approaches.  Alex has over seven years consulting experience in developing and implementing enterprise applications in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Nonprofit, and Professional Services industries - working for firms such as Wyeth, Merck, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Commerce Bank.  He has implemented solutions ranging from mainframe-based banking packages to custom-built Internet applications.  His functional expertise is in the areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM).  Alex received his Bachelor of Science from Drexel University. He has received his MBA from Villanova University.
